Microsoft's May update has introduced new capabilities in Copilot Studio focused on AI agent automation, workflow management and real-time voice interactions. The May updates include “computer-using agents” designed to interact with applications and systems on behalf of users, enabling automation of repetitive business tasks. Microsoft also introduced a redesigned workflow experience intended to simplify how organizations build and manage AI-driven processes across enterprise environments.
Among the updates, Graebel combines flow and computer-using agents. Working with GET AI and Microsoft, Graebel built the Graebel Service Order Agent in Copilot Studio using computer use capabilities to help automate the process end-to-end.
With the new Work IQ REST API and command-line interface (CLI) capabilities, teams can integrate Work IQ more flexibly into existing operational and development workflows.
In addition, the company added real-time voice functionality to support more conversational interactions with AI agents. The voice capabilities are designed to help users engage with AI systems through spoken prompts and responses in operational and customer service scenarios.
Microsoft said the updates are aimed at helping enterprises scale AI-powered automation while integrating more naturally into existing workflows and applications.
