Low-Code Zoho Tool Now Does Mobile

Low-code tool vendor Zoho announced its new Creator 5 dev platform has added mobile app creation.

A new addition to the drag-and-drop development platform is Mobile App Creator for developing iOS and Android apps. The apps can: leverage location-based data input; use customize layouts, actions and gestures; and utilize device capabilities like cameras and microphones to enter data.

"With this update, we are raising the bar yet again by enabling mobile app creation for both smartphones and tablets, no programming skills required," said Raju Vegesna, chief evangelist at Zoho Corp.

The resulting mobile apps can be published on Apple's App Store, the Google Play Store or via an organization's Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform. Existing Zoho projects are automatically mobile-enabled.

The new edition of Zoho's flagship offering --at 12 years old, one of the veterans in the burgeoning low-code space -- also features creators for pages, forms, reports, workflows and more.

Available for a 15-day trial, the Zoho Creator 5 pricing starts at $10 per user per month with annual billing.

More information on the new mobile app capability can be found in a company blog post, published yesterday (March 27).
