Mobile app development company Sourcebits this week announced a new approach to providing mobile app design and development services -- including a "Mobile Makeover" of existing apps to get them in enterprise shape.
"App Fuel was designed specifically to meet the evolving needs of companies aggressively building mobile applications for consumers, businesses and/or employees," the company said.
The App Fuel services target companies needing help with tasks such as product ideation, rapid UI/UX prototyping, wearable app concepts and more, including the Mobile Makeover, in which "The Sourcebits design team evaluates an existing application, discusses problems with the client, and then creates a new UI/UX design."
Other services include an Innovation Workshop, in which Sourcebits will provide 1-1/2 days of in-person brainstorming about an app idea and then work for two weeks to produce a 50-page report outlining UI design concepts, architectural diagrams, product requirements and a project estimate.
Sourcebits will also help companies woo investors with another package and will even handle all facets of designing, developing, testing and submitting a new app, serving as a company's strategic product partner as part of the "The Whole Enchilada" package.
Several other packages are also available, with prices starting at $7,000.
"The program also addresses the growing market requirement to handle mobile app design and development projects of all sizes and schedules," the company said in a statement this week. "From entrepreneurs exploring new app ideas to larger companies revising their existing mobile apps -- Sourcebits can move quickly and efficiently to deliver high-quality results in less time than it typically takes to hire internal teams."
