Hazelcast has officially released Hazelcast Platform 5.7.0, an update that introduces production-grade support for the Java 25 runtime environment. The release, launched on May 28, 2026, aims to strengthen the operational foundations of enterprise systems that rely on real-time processing.
According to the company, the release is organized around core enterprise metrics, including "resilience, consistency, performance, and efficiency." A key addition is Advanced CP, a premium add-on built specifically for multi-data-center topologies, featuring automated Raft leadership transfers to mitigate latency spikes. This system ensures that data consistency is maintained across multiple geographic regions, even during sudden infrastructure partitions.
For Java developers, the platform integrates enhancements to the Sinks class. Methods such as mapWithMerging(), mapWithUpdating(), and mapWithEntryProcessor() have been upgraded to correctly resolve user code classes during data deserialization within a job's User Code Namespace. The update prevents class-loading conflicts that previously occurred when independent processing jobs used identical class names but with differing internal logic.
The release also brings dynamic diagnostic logging to general availability, allowing operators to troubleshoot production environments without restarting clusters. This capability reduces diagnostic overhead by enabling real-time trace adjustments for individual execution pipelines under heavy enterprise workloads.
