Mobile analytics company Kochava announced a free version of its campaign measurement and optimization platform.
Called Free App Analytics, the tool can be used to measure, analyze and optimize campaigns using some 2,400 global ad networks including well-known offerings such as Facebook, Google, Pandora, Amazon, Twitter and Snapchat.
"Free App Analytics eliminates the cost hurdle without sacrificing the basic features emerging mobile marketers require," the company said in a statement Tuesday. "In today's hypercompetitive and complex mobile marketing ecosystem, app developers simply cannot afford to fly blind. Free App Analytics removes the cost barrier and gives all app developers access to the most advanced measurement and analytics platform in the world. "
The tool includes Media Guide, a global index of thousands of integrated ad networks to help match advertisers' audience preferences. It also features post-install event tracking, real-time analytics via device-level reporting and more.
Free App Analytics provides SDKs for iOS and Android, along with support for bot integration and server-to-server implementations.
While the free tool provides basic features for marketers tracking emerging apps, the company said tier-1 features -- such as scaling, for example -- are only provided in the company's Kochava Enterprise offering.
For that product, the company also announced new features for its suite of business intelligence (BI) tools called Kochava Intelligence, including Query, for SQL queries into row-level data stored in the Kochava platform, and What If?, which the company said "allows advertisers to drive a virtual time machine, instrumenting the replay of their historical traffic to confirm what changes to their campaign strategy would have had on user acquisition and conversion rates."
Advertisers and app developers can sign up for Free App Analytics now.
