BrainStorm Group has launched The SOA Institute and Web
site, which it says will make it possible for IT pros to share with each
other what they know about service-oriented architecture. Membership in the
organization is complimentary for individuals.
Originally launched as a sub-community of BPMInstitute.org, the institute’s
site aims to provide comprehensive information about all issues related to SOA,
BrainStorm says. The site features access to SOA news, case studies and articles.
Members will be able to discuss topics in private, peer-to-peer discussions
and roundtable meetings with industry experts and analysts.
SOAInstitute.org says it has posted an online discussion titled, “SOA:
How to Invest Today Without Shooting Yourself In The Foot Tomorrow,” as
an inaugural offering. The discussion features experts from Sun Microsystems,
BEA Systems, IONA Technologies and Software AG.
Membership info is available
here. Companies interested in becoming SOAInstitute.org sponsors can e-mail
