Mobile app analytics company Taplytics today announced a new service that leverages the data warehouse in the Google Cloud Platform for access to raw data that can be analyzed and visualized with a variety of tools.
The San Francisco-based company specializes in enterprise mobile optimization, providing push notification services, A/B testing and other tools to developers, marketers and product managers designed to increase user engagement.
BigQuery is Google's fully managed data warehouse designed for large scale data analytics. The new Taplytics BigQuery lets enterprises see how customers are using their mobile apps by providing raw data stored in the Google cloud that can be analyzed with data visualization tools, or incorporated with other internal data sources for multi-channel analysis, the company said.
Those other sources can include physical stores, e-commerce Web sites and so on.
"The premise behind Taplytics BigQuery is that it's critical to have access to the right data to inform your mobile business, not a one-size-fits-all solution that's too broad to be valuable," said Taplytics CEO Aaron Glazer in a statement. "We’re giving our users unprecedented access to query their mobile data in any way they choose, so they can find the answers that are most pertinent to their business and take quick action."
In a blog post yesterday, Taplytics said the new service is provided as an add-on. The company provides basic and enterprise plans.
"Taplytics BigQuery is designed to provide teams big and small with a data solution that can be customized to fit their specific objectives," the company said in the bog post. "With Taplytics BigQuery, you can start asking more questions that result in better experimentation to drive an optimized in-app experience and greater ROI."
