Application Development Trends'
2002 Innovator Awards

Despite the economic struggles of the past year, ADT saw no letup in the number of innovative development projects submitted for our eighth annual Innovator Awards competition. We found many companies willing to take significant risks during difficult economic times to undertake a software development project utilizing new development processes and/or technologies to get a competitive edge. Some may be more successful than others, but we offer a tip of the hat to all development groups that tried something different to get ahead. And for some, the rewards were substantial, whether in cutting costs, taking better advantage of personnel or creating a new product to conquer competitors.

After a lengthy review and judging process by a group of Keane Inc. consultants and ADT editors, the most innovative projects were selected. This special report profiles the development teams that worked on those winning projects.
