Understand and Visualize Your Time-Stamped Data
Date: Wednesday, August 18th at 11am PDT / 2pm EDT
InfluxDB is the purpose-built time series platform — learn how you can use it to ingest, explore, analyze and understand your time-stamped data. In this talk, we’ll highlight key functionalities and show tips and tricks to efficiently monitor, find and address infrastructure and application issues.
In this webinar, Kristina Robinson will go over Giraffe, an open source React-based visualization library that powers data visualizations in the InfluxDB UI. Giraffe can be used to display your data within your own app. It uses algorithms to handle visualizing high volumes of time series data that InfluxDB can ingest and query.
Kristina Robinson, the engineering manager for the Giraffe team at InfluxData, will dive into:
- Best practices to ingest, explore and analyze your data.
- The basics of using the Giraffe library (including how to query your data with Flux)
- Specific Giraffe visualization types for dashboards (e.g. single number, table and graph)
- How to incorporate visualizations in your own custom apps
