Rally adds Agile dev tools

Rally Software Development announced the availability of Rally Agile Team and Rally Agile Pro, two editions designed to give software development teams the visibility and collaboration needed to deliver high-value software in short, rapid iterations. The new offerings advance Rally's on-demand applications for helping software-driven organizations formalize, manage and scale Agile dev practices.
Agile Team enables a team of 10 developers and testers to communicate and manage their iterations more effectively by giving them basic project management, test management and defect tracking features without complexity, promises Rally. Agile Team offers a specific set of project management features to assist smaller teams, or initial teams within a larger organization, to gain the experience, visibility and confidence needed to succeed and eventually scale Agile dev methodologies.
Agile Pro supports activities in the software lifecycle, with added capabilities for release planning and tracking, requirements management, resource planning and program management. In addition, Agile Pro is customizable and uses Web services that integrate Rally with the company's preferred development, test and build environments to provide seamless collaboration and visibility across projects and teams.
Rally Agile Team and Rally Agile Pro are available immediately. Pricing for Rally Agile Pro is $65 per month, per user. Rally Agile Team Edition can be purchased on Rally's Web site for a special promotion price of $995 for 5 users for 6 months.
