Smoother way to build Notes-like apps in J2EE

Unify has released Unify NXJ Composer, designed to give Lotus Notes developers the ability to build Lotus Notes-like applications in J2EE without having to code by hand.
Unify NXJ Composer eases the transition to J2EE with bi-directional data synchronization between Notes files and relational databases, significantly reducing migration risk for the organization, according to Unify. This parallel operation enables an incremental transition to J2EE in a safe, non-disruptive manner, the company adds.
Unify NXJ Composer converts Lotus Notes databases, forms, formula language and LotusScript into a J2EE-based, relational database app that integrates with the enterprise architecture and leverages existing IBM hardware and software investments such as AIX, WebSphere and DB2, the company says.
