Netcordia membership ‘A catalyst for rapid innovation’

Network analysis tool provider Netcordia has been selected for membership in Avaya’s DeveloperConnection program, which promotes the development, compliance-testing and co-marketing of innovative third-party products that are compatible with standards-based Avaya solutions.

"We help businesses embed secure, reliable intelligent communications into the very fabric of their organization so employees and customers have ready access to information regardless of where they are and how they prefer to communicate."
Netcordia is the developer of NetMRI, a network analysis appliance that scans network infrastructure and analyzes the health of key systems-level areas. The Netcordia product works with Avaya IP telephony systems by collecting call records and integrating them into the SNMP and configuration information from the layer two and three routers and switches on the IP network. According to Netcordia, this results in a high level of uptime, reduces time to troubleshoot and repair and utilizes a single multivendor tool.

The Avaya Developer- Connection program currently includes more than 2,200 software and hardware developer companies, integrators, service providers and customers. Members have created natural language speech recognition applications, wireless services, specialized computer telephony integration and reporting capabilities and applications tailored for specific vertical industries.
